Charleston Chews

With Hurricane Florence battering the Carolinas right now, I thought it only proper to give thanks to Charleston, a majestic city that my wife and I recently had the pleasure of visiting.  Each year, we pick a fascinating foodie destination, then taste our way through, sans kids, for an extended weekend.  It’s not only a great way to explore new scenes, but it allows you to reconnect your senses with your partner.  (Very important if you want to keep making breakfast for a happy family for years to come!)  So far, Charleston sits at or near the top of our list.  From its historic charms to its culinary wonders, Charleston tugged at our hearts (and bellies)… and has us dreaming about returning for seconds.
