Fall Back and Bagels

Today I woke up at 6:30 am, or wait was it 7:30?  My phone said it was early, but this time yesterday it was still pitch dark outside and now the sky was dimly lit.   Very odd, I thought. Downstairs, the house clocks supported the late wake up claim.  Was I loosing my mind?  Why was my phone saying otherwise?  It wasn’t until a half hour later and a quick Google check did I finally figure out we rolled back the time in the middle of the night. I had completely blanked!

Without hesitation, I headed to Dunkin Donuts.  Fresh bagels and hot coffee were needed to rectify this morning’s questionable start.  When I returned home, my princess sous chef was in the kitchen ready to make breakfast.  With crown fixed to her head and that twinkle in her eye, she helped prep a Sunday standard: apple cider vinegar poached eggs, maple thick cut bacon, and bagels and cream cheese.  Now all was back to normal!

  1. She’s the cutest little sous chef I’ve ever seen. I wish I had a little princess in my kitchen in the morning. I think she really likes to cook. All her meals look delicious. Thanks for sending the pictures to me. She made my day.
