Dear Little Miss Ava,
My sweet baby girl. Today I awoke to you outside my bedroom door, sprawled out on the carpet weeping because you wanted to wear your fancy brand new rainbow dress to preschool. We comprised, I gave you your favorite yellow one instead and promised a plate full of piping hot waffles. A pink bow in your hair and a few strokes of a hairbrush later, and you were ready for breakfast. Unfortunately, Daddy had a busy work morning and didn’t have time to make his homemade Belgium Waffles. After a quick toasting of some frozen Eggos, a splash of OJ, and a lathering of syrup, you dug in. Although the meal was a quickie, you still made breakfast unforgettable when you sang your ABC’s for Daddy for the first time. Fortunately, I had my iPhone there to capture it live! Love you A…
